Tango World Championship 2014 will be held from 13 to 26 August in various scenarios and locations in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This year Tango BA 2014 offer exhibitions, free classes, products fair, concerts, meetings; and of course, the tango championship international competition.
The global importance that has taken this dance again was what drove in the past the world tango competition in Buenos Aires. This fact is proved as in 2009 this dance was declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, by decision of the Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO.
Tango in BA has over 2000 artists in the different scenarios that will be mounted at various points in Buenos Aires and among all participating couples will be chosen the 2014 world tango champions.
The city of Buenos Aires that spawned this popular dance today is glad to see return to this cultural event in its streets to the delight of the people who receive it with open arms. In 2010 the city gave official tango hall in the Teatro de la Ribera, in the neighborhood of La Boca. In this place and in this room, all activity moves to the rhythm of the 2×4.
The event is scheduled for the month of August when Buenos Aires Tango 2014 develops. The dates are all programming from 13 to 26 August in various parts of the city.
