What to do in Buenos Aires – Palermo Chico

The 06 Central Hostel tempts you to come experience Buenos Aires.

Palermo Chico is a suburban part of Palermo, delimited by Avenida del Libertador, Tagle street, Cavia street and the railways.

Like many areas in the city, the urban design was in charge of Carlos Thays, who had a different picture of Buenos Aires in mind, with curved neighborhoods filled with crossways and plenty of native vegetation. At first it was called “Barrio Grand Bourg” and many classic buildings  such as the “Palacio Errázuriz” -current “Museo de Arte Decorativo”– and modern ones like the MALBA – Latinamerican Art Museum of Buenos Aires- were built here.

This quiet neighborhood has paving, narrow and circular street which are full of trees. Many  upper-class families and famous people live here.
