The Builiding

The 06 Central Hostel Buenos Aires building is located 3 blocks away from Obelisco & in the middle of the "Microcentro", a few steps away from the pedestrian streets Florida and Lavalle and the famous Avenida 9 de Julio (see map). It's a big antique house of colonial style which had different functions. In its beginning it was a tenement and years later it turned into the famous suit factory "Perramus", which was visited frequently by artists and important figures of the time, among them Eva Peron, to buy their suits.
A few years ago, this building was totally restored to become what is now our hostel.
